Supporting Little Local Legends

At Vantage Building Group we believe grassroots sport plays a huge role in shaping strong local communities.

That’s why we’re excited to announce a new community sponsorship with 91.9 Sea FM - the Little Local Legends Fund with Vantage Building Group.

The initiative has been created to support junior Sunshine Coast sporting clubs facing the rising costs of grassroots sport and help keep local kids in the game.

Through the fund, local clubs can apply for support towards things like:

Sporting equipment
Uniforms
Club upgrades
Registration assistance
Coaching resources
Training equipment
Travel expenses
Facility improvements
General participation support

Every month, entries and local stories from across the region will be shared, with selected clubs receiving a Vantage Building Group bursary to support their junior programs and future growth.

We know just how important local sport is to families across the Sunshine Coast. It teaches teamwork, confidence, resilience and connection - and creates lifelong friendships and community spirit along the way.

June 2026
This week we had the privilege of presenting the very first Little Local Legends Fund bursary. Chad from the Vantage team was on hand to present $800 to Suncoast Spinners.
The funding will be used to provide more workshops, clinics and services free of charge for local kids, creating opportunities for more young people to get involved stay active.

Congratulations to Calisthenics Buderim, the latest recipient of a $1,000 Little Local Legends Fund bursary, proudly presented by Vantage Building Group Sales Manager, Nicci.
As a volunteer-run, not-for-profit club, Calisthenics Buderim is committed to making sport accessible for every child. The funding will go towards replacing essential training equipment, helping keep participation affordable while providing a safe, supportive environment where local kids can build confidence, friendships and lifelong skills.
