1. How much does it really cost to build a new home?
   ‍New home buyers often worry about hidden costs. At Vantage Building Group, our pricing is completely transparent. Our terrace house and land packages are sold as fixed price and full turnkey.  This means the price you sign for includes site costs, flooring, stone benchtops, appliances, landscaping and driveway, meaning no surprises along the way.
2. Is building cheaper than buying an existing home?
   ‍In many cases, yes. Building a new home can be more cost effective than buying an established property, especially for first home buyers. You also benefit from modern layouts, energy efficient inclusions and lower maintenance costs overtime when you build. Plus, you get to customise your home to suit your personal style.
3. How long does it take to build a new home?
   ‍Once land is registered and ready to go, construction of a single-story house is approximately 20 weeks. Most of our builds follow a clear construction timeline and our team keeps buyers informed throughout every stage, so you always know what is happening next.
4. Do I need to find land before speaking to a builder?
   ‍No. Many buyers speak to us before securing land. We can help match a home design to available land that suits your budget. We also offer house and land packages across the Sunshine Coast in some of the most sought-after developments.
5. What is included in a turnkey home?
   ‍A turnkey home is built move in ready. This typically includes flooring, lighting, window coverings, appliances, driveway and even a letterbox. When we say turnkey, we mean there is nothing left to do but move in furniture.
6. Can first home buyers use the First Home Owner Grant when building?
   Yes. Eligible first home buyers can apply for the First Home Owner Grant when building a new home in Queensland. This grant can be used towards your build and may significantly reduce your overall costs.
7. Can I customise my home design?
   ‍Yes. While our homes are designed to be affordable and efficient, many buyers choose to make small changes to suit their needs and personalise the home. Our team will guide you on what changes are possible while keeping your build on budget.
8. Can you help me select a home design to suit my narrow block of land?
   ‍At Vantage Building Group, we are small and narrow lot specialists. Designing homes for compact sites is one of the things we do best. We have a large range of narrow-lot and small-lot home designs, including options for single and double storey builds.
