What’s happening with construction in Q1

Kicking off the year, Q1 has already delivered strong progress across our construction pipeline. We have also commenced two new projects in Kings Beach and Baringa.

With multiple projects advancing through key stages, it has been a productive start across our commercial builds. Here is how things are progressing on site.

Plantation Retirement, Maroochydore

Plantation Retirement Maroochydore is nearing completion, with major construction elements now finalised. The scaffold, hoist and tower crane have all been removed, revealing the full structure of the building. The lift is now operational, marking another key milestone.

Externally, footpaths have been completed, with tiling and metalwork installations continuing across the site. Pool works are currently underway and landscaping is set to commence shortly, bringing the final vision of the project to life.

The project is on track for completion in mid May 2026.

Plantation Retirement, Baringa Stage 2

Construction at Plantation Retirement Baringa Stage 2 is progressing well, with key structural elements now complete. Ground floor columns and blockwork have been finished, along with the slab on ground for the car park. Formwork to podium level 1 is now complete, with reinforcement installation currently underway.

Upcoming milestones include two major concrete pours scheduled for mid April, which will continue to drive the project forward.

Aurelle Terrace Homes, Nirimba

Aurelle by Vantage has reached an important milestone, with all civil and subdivision works completed in February. This sets the foundation for the next stage of the project, with construction of homes scheduled to commence in early April.

With strong planning and preparation now complete, the project is well positioned to move efficiently into the build phase.

Solara Apartments, Kings Beach

Progress continues at Solara Apartments, with piling works now completed and bulk earthworks officially underway.

Bulk excavation is projected to be completed by July 2026, keeping the project on track and moving steadily towards the next phase of development.
